of Paediatric Dentistry.
Professor Duggal has published
over 90 research papers in
international journals and is
the author of ‘Restorative
Techniques in Paediatric
Dentistry’, which has been
published in seven languages and
has sold over 12,000 copies
worldwide. He has
co-edited the textbook
“Paediatric Dentistry. He is
also the Director of Leeds
International Centre for
Cariogenicity Research, in
Leeds, UK and has been awarded
over 2.5 million pounds in
research grants.

Dr
Andersson is Professor in Oral &
Maxillofacial Surgery at the
recently started Faculty of
Dentistry Kuwait University . He
underwent his undergraduate and
research training at Karolinska
Institute in Stockholm, Sweden
and received his PhD on a thesis
on experimental studies on
replantation of avulsed teeth
1988 and was promoted to Odont
Dr 1989, followed by an
appointment as Docent at
Karolinska Institute, Stockholm,
Sweden in 1990. Dr
Andersson was Head and
Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial
Surgeon for The Oral &
Maxillofacial Surgery Department
in Vنsterهs, Sweden and Program
Director for a National
Specialist Training Program in
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at
this centre 1992-2002. He also
developed and directed an
international training program
in implant surgery 1994-2002.
His main areas of interest are
trauma, orthognatic and implant
surgery. Dr Andersson is chapter
author and editor of clinical
textbooks in Trauma and Oral &
Maxillofacial Surgery. He is
also Editor in Chief for the
international scientific journal
